Hindu views of homosexuality and, in general, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) issues, are diverse. Homosexuality is regarded as one of the possible expressions of human desire and Hindu mythic stories have portrayed homosexual experience as natural and joyful.

There are several Hindu temples which have carvings that depict both men and women indulging in homosexual sex. Same-sex relations and gender variance have been represented within Hinduism from Vedic times through to the present day, in rituals, law books, religious or so-called mythical narratives, commentaries, paintings, and sculpture. The extent to which these representations embrace or reject homosexuality has been disputed within the religion as well as outside of it.

In 2009, the United Kingdom Hindu Council issued a statement that 'Hinduism does not condemn homosexuality', subsequent to the decision of the Delhi High Court to legalise homosexuality in India.

Your so brave to make this video! I really appreciate it!. I have always wondered what its like to be straight. I will never able to experience it. When i was at school i was bullied because i was different to other boys. i couldnt go home and tell my parents. I just sat and cried. And went through so much pain. Even today i find it so hard just to put my arm around my lover. or hold his hand in public. I would never ever be able to do it how straight couples enjoy thier life togeher :(

But a person marrieing another person from the same sex is would probley never happen, but in the Kama Sutra they are shown high respect as lovers if its whats in the heart of the couple.

@truthofevolution you should look into the hindus gita that albert einstein studied into because trust me, the rig-veda and the hindus accient scripts are all writen in the oldist lauge on the planet, also hinduism is the only faith on the planet writen in sanskrit and what makes it more interesting is that sanskrit is the lauge of bethlehem past 4,800 years before jesus soooo what ever created hinduism CREATED JESUS :)

Hey i really would hate to break this to you but gays in hinduism can not get married, it may be accepted but you will never see a gay marriage in hinduism because it is not accepted as that.

What your looking at is the accient scripts of the ((( Kama Sutra ))) the kama sutra is a state of amplifying a person's passion, too highten what they desire... it is only a type tantra of the body.

Not the marriage side of things... they have alot of respect for women as they see women as creaters

This video is brilliant, and why I have so much respect for Hindus. And for Krishna, it is obvious that he represents God. God is neither a man or a women, so it make sense for hims to posses the positive characteristics of both genders.

And as for the idiot, Judaism is a religion. However, most Jews are of semitic heritage, these people have what most people call "jew" characteristics. "Jewish" nose, ironic humor, "Jew fro" etc.
