i remember this guy,hew was eating with onslow in a pub in vartsika east hki finland.he looks like a fit tennis player everyday and keeps on smiling.likes hes hero=dog the bounty hunter.
I remember this guy , he did a piece for UK TV, maybe early Top Gear, 20 years ago at Santa Pod, 1/4 mile burn outs, over centre wheelies to brake the back light lens, clog skiing etc on a massive z 1300 with just down pipes, awsome noise, at the time it was unbelievable, the man's a hero. Some one find the clip and post it. Simon Diffey
I remember this guy! He featured in a big article in Superbike mag about 25 years ago. He wore an open face helmet and clogs. Pics of him riding backwards and off the back of the bike on clogs. Nothing else like it! :)
@JMRAW11 Just seen this after all these years :) I'm sure he did it all with a broken leg and the headline in the mag feature was something like " If I'm not crazy I'll give you your money back" considering how plain scary the Z1300 was I'd be very surprised if anyone did ask :) just amazing and a total legend
mmm.. infact he didnt.. he just opened a motorcycle shop "Artsi Cycle".. btw, he said after the fall; " im glad that i got my head to ground first, saved my throttlehand :) "
please please please, does anyone have Arto doing the clog stunt at the British Truck Grand Prix, early 80's? Its truly the greatest stunt I've ever seen.
Whoa, nice clip. I saw Arto in airshow at Oulu airport in early 80s' If he was in US he would be a millionaire by now. BTW his shoes are made of birch tree blocks - the best material for "skiing".

I think the clip you're looking is now on youtube.
Titled "Just Amazing - Stunting on a Z1300". Just thought if you haven't noticed it yet.
