Speedboat crashes are very often showed in every blooper/accident tv programs, seems the boat racing is far more dangerous than car racing, especially F1 racing. Because the water have no grip comparing to tire hugging tarmac road. The speed boat easily loosing direction in event a tiny disturbance.

I'm not so sure about it. Try jumping into a pool from, idk, 12 feet (4 metres if you use [better, khm] metric system) on your stomach, be flat as a board and tell me if it hurts. Why do people use parachutes to jump from planes in the water and not just jump in? Oh water can be veery cruel and tricky, believe me. It's actually quite dense, compared to some other fluids like oil.
