  • nice song bsiar khob hang

  • TALT WAS ONLY THE SINGER WHO WAS HAVING mkahmali VOICE . NO BODY CAN SING LIKE HIM .............

  • There is one very important aspect of Talat Mahmmod's singing, which I do not know whether anybody has been able to take notice of that. Talat mahmmod has been one singer whose voice goes very well with Dilip Kumar's voice and personality than any other singer. When he sang for Dilip Kumar it appeared that it was Dilip Kumar who was actually singing. Movies like Babul, Daag, Tarana etc.Mohd.Rafi was not that suited for Dilip Kumar as Talat Mahmood was.

  • all you good people that are moved by lyrics, melody and arrangements.......just for a moment.........while engrossed in the beauty of this music........consider the great good fortune we all are imbued with to be able to appreciate such touching experiences........there is someone within you that needs acknowledgement....the true lover of such music....it is someone who survives beyond the details of music.......peace good people

  • Another singer who steals my heart with his voice is talat mahmood ji. i just love his voice. there is some magic in his voice. its so adorable. he has sung so many beautiful songs. i like his songs 'sham-e-gham ki kasam' and 'yeh hawa yeh raat yeh chandini teri ik ada pe nisar hain'

  • I think it runs in the family of Mangeshkars.Even Ashaji, who was a raw diamond once and was cut into a scintillating one by O.P.Nayyar ji,never ever acknowledges his role in her career. She talks only about R.D.Burman ji,whose job was easier as she was a sparkling gem by then.I am a die hard Lataji and Ashaji fan still I feel that it is gross injustice on their part.

  • @sairam239 I agree.....they were never very greateful....but please dont say anything abt RD...he was great...asha even left him when his career was on a downfall...the poor guy ...he died alone...with no money ...no love....nothing....PAncham da...u r the best..

  • @stellatrescourtt I have highest regards for the great RDB.I was just expressing my feelings about Asha ji.But is it a fact that she left RDB?It is news to me!Then why she organizes/participates in shows in his honor and gives speeches like a bereaved widow?

  • Kya gaana hai .... kamaaal hai. Aajkal ke gaano mein yeh mazaa kahan. The melody has died out totally

  • i am totally speechless about this sweet song... all time great duet...

  • Dear inmukherjee, I wholly agree with you. The world is full with this kinda attitude. We are the outcome of past. the result of other's efforts, caring, love and sacrifice. One must acknowledge all these things and repay in dignified manner.

  • pasandeeda duet tha,hay aur rahega

  • Ive always loved this song, but I felt it when my heart was broken :-(

  • no match. the best

  • What a heart rendering song! what facing impressions, lajawab.Ever lasting.

  • THE BEAUTY MADHUBALA -----and Dilip Kumar together.

Cute couple of romance----------------with its pain & pleasure.

  • This song would perhaps go down in the history as one of the topmost suet sung by lataji and talatbhai. It has everything best lyrics, best music composition and grat voice of lataji and tlatbhai. Thanks for uploading.

  • CAN SOMEONE TELL LATADIDI THAT OWNING UP THE GREATNESS OF ANIL BISWAS WILL ONLY ADD LUSTRE TO HER ALREADY ILLUSTRIOUS CAREER ... WE SELDOM TALK OF THE PRESENCE OF MAESTRO MUSIC COMPOSERS TO SOME SWEET LYRICS OF GREAT POETS OF THE GOLDEN ERA .... EK AUR LATA NAHIN BAN SAKTI AGREED ... LEKIN ISS RAW HIRAY KO KISNAY TARAASHA SANWAARA .... EK KHEMCHAND PRAKAASH, ANIL BISWAS, NAUSHAD, SDB, MADAN MOHAN, SALIL CHOWDHURY, HEMANT KUMAR ..... KAHAAN TAK NAAM GINWAAYEIN SABHINE UNHEIN SANWAARA HAI !!!!

  • @inmukherjee SHE WILL NEVER EVER ACKNOWLEDGE ANIL BISWAS WHY THERE WERE TIMES WHEN SHE FOUGHT WITH THE IMMORTAL S J INSPITE OF HAVING AN EXTRAORDINARY SOFT CORNER FOR JAIKISHAN SHE ALSO HAD A BITTER FIGHT WITH DADA BURMAN AND EVEN THE GENTLE RAFISAHAB THE ONLY PERSON SHE ACKNOWLEDGES IS MADAN MOHAN ONE WONDRES WHY ONLY HIM

  • @snfab1

don't forget another great music director c .ramchandra

  • @joshuadiesel Yes indeed!! if i am not wrong c. ramachandra is the one who has done music for the 1950's film Azad starring Meena Kumari and Dilip Kumar. i tell u!!! the music in that film is a feast to your ears. all the the songs in Azad are awesome. songs like, 'kitni jawan hain raat koi yaad agayaa', 'kitna haseen hain mausam', and so on....

  • @yellowwildorchids

    c. ramchandra also composed for albela and anarkali also azad those films became immortals not only because they were great films but with great music with many many songs which also made lata mangeshkar a top singer i can't understand why she had to fight with all of them she is my second favorite singer however my idol is mohammed rafi which was the best human being and best singer

  • @joshuadiesel i heard that lataji dominated and influenced music directors not to give a chance to new singers. sort of monopolised the industry. though she is one of my favourite singers facts remain facts. i didnt know that she has fought wid all these great people. rafi ji indeed!!!! unke baare mein kya bole. never heard anything wrong about him. a good human being wid such beautiful voice. whenever i hear his song 'man tadpat' i get goosebumps and get sooo moved his voice is soul stirring.

  • @yellowwildorchids true.for instance suman kalyanpur was another talent she was the only one who could match up to lata's voice, amazing thing she had almost excatly same voice. when i heard the song "ek jurm kar ke humne" shama i was amazed that it was not lata and it was the first time i heard of suman lata threatened not to sing again for anyone who will give suman a job what can i say ? i do understand she grew up in very rough financial state and it was only business but still it is wrong

  • @joshuadiesel

Please don't tell lies about great people. You will greatly suffer as a consequence. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever to support whatever you are saying about either Lataji or Sumanji. You should express regret for writing hearsays which are absolutely false as some of us truly know.

  • @AYYAS1942

    are you for real?

first of all i do not regret for writing this because it is true

second lata is one of my favorite singer but that does not mean she was a good person everyone knows she was hot -tempered she fought with mohd rafi over royalty issues she fought asha her own sister.asha also said so herself in an interview do me a favor everyone knows that just because you are a big fan it won't change that fact mohd rafi was the best ever

  • @yellowwildorchids

on mohammed rafi i can talk forever and just praise and praise him and still can't tell you how much his voice gives me such peace . i do not even understand hindi but i will learn i love the language :)

  • Dilip is or will be the best. I like amitab but no one can come close to Dilip K. I met him personally in 1966 and shook hands with him. Can you ever come over that feeling.

  • What a beauty!!! Out of the world.. She died at such young age.. God needs HIS best creation back to HIM more than we do..

  • A priceless immortal evergreen from the greatest era in musical history !

  • Dear All, remember the Lyrics is by Great Prem Dhawan ji, who wrote little but true Gems, pure, priceless and immortal. Hats off to both, Prem Dhawan and Anil Da.

Please come back from Heaven to India Sir, to revive the lost Glory of this Great Nation. We shall ever remain indebted to all the Legends of the Golden Era.

  • @Rakesh56677 You are absolutely right my friend.

  • @Rakesh56677 seriously. i also feel we need someone in our country to revive the lost Glory and save us from the present day crappy songs. i also thank the person who uploaded this beautiful song.

  • Such a soulful and melodious immortal song rendered superbly by Talat Ji and Lata Ji.

  • What a song and what to say about the beauty, that to in black and white picture

  • Great song of Anil Biswas. Thanks for upload.

  • All the mastery of Anil Biswas served by Lata at her best and Talat ALWAYS at his best..

  • One of the best compositions of Anilda. Excellently sung & Beautifully picturised.

  • what a great song...can never get tired of listening to it...wah Madhubala and wah Dilipkumar - Wah Talat and Wah Latajee...

  • a song that makes you vibrate with the emotions the song renders.

  • Madhubala looks unbelievably beautiful here... she was so young and slim then

  • like old songs visit me

  • 1 person who clicked dislike has no armaans in life

  • How lucky we are. S.D. Burman , Roshan, C Ramachandra, Salil Chaudhary, Naushad, Sajjad Husein, Shankar Jaikishen, Jaidev and now Anil Vishvas. To add on top of it Rafi, Lata, Talat, Mukesh, Kishore, Aasha, Geeta Dutt. All in one generation.

Upar wala jab bhi deta PURA chhappar fadke deta.

  • @MandarThe i totally agree with you dear .if legends like rafi sahab kishore da mukesh ji lata ji asha ji talat sahab manna dey ji hemant da had been in this era they all wud he been wasted.and we all wud ve been deprived off the soulfull music of all time.

  • @MandarThe how right you are , i will add that we were lucky to grow seeing them come and play sing together in 50`s & 60`s . I am glad they are no more alive except for lataji otherwise they would have surely committed cruelty to them selves listening to todays music directors, singers and reality shows.
