And the most famous personal freakout in my life is when I got stuck on the genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Can you guess where? Carnival Night, act 2, where EVERYONE gets stuck. There's a room with a rotating drum that's effected by gravity and there's NOTHING else. It took YEARS to figure out how to get past it >.<
It'll be awesome if you just sent Magby out there when Poliwrath got just abit of hp left with poison. So if Poliwrath missed your Magby and died from poison, your Magby would've gotten a hell lots of levels.
I don't think this counts for stuck but when I was playing my first Pokemon game, I didn't know what was rare and what wasn't. So I had just got the Masterball and I encountered a wild Ponyta (I thought it looked really cool) and I didn't have any other Pokeballs so I used my Masterball.... sadly, I figured out a few steps in the grass later that there were a lot of them and it wasn't rare. I immediately turned off my GB and started my game over.... Ahh the memories....
Am the only person who was dumb enough to surf to cianwood, get the medicine, surf back to olivine, barely defeat jasmine, and then surf all the way back cianwood to defeat chuck and then realize I was supposed to defeat him first?
Most embarrassing thing I got stuck on? Zelda Ocarina of Time at the water temple. After I got the Longshot after battling Dark Link I was completely stuck for literally over a year (Yes Over a year) And I eventually found out.....there was a song of time box right behind the Chest -_____-

in Paper Mario TTYD i was stuck in paper rolling mode and could remember how to get out of it, so i rage quit and re-did two levels...i now save like every five minutes :)

I don't get why you say all this crap about moves when there are worse ones you would recommend, or even ones pretty much the same. Like Wing Attack, every time someone uses it, you're like "HAHAHA what an idiot, why would he have Wing Attack?" but then you were like "Aerial Ace is an EXCELLENT move" when it has the EXACT same power as Wing Attack, it just never misses. And I know there's better flying moves out there, but mostly either through TM or HM (Fly), so how would a trainer get them?

I got stuck on pokemon emerald for a strength puzzle just like you, I gave up on going through the game's story and just started catching pokemon for the pokedex and leveling up my pokemon. The sad thing is, I was a teenager at the time. I think it was right before the water gym where you had to go against team aqua or something. I've also have gotten lost in Okami. Or failed at a Spyro puzzle to get to a certain dragon, that I think I lost ten lives to before giving up. Game Faq is awesome.
In Paper Mario 2, I got stuck on that puzzle where you have to hold Koops shell in place then jump on a block and release after that, in other words, how to get into Hooktail Castle via pipe, then I checked your let's play...
I got stuck in twilight princess in the mansion ice block puzzle, and the puzzle right before u get the master sword. Found out an easy way for both, then I facepalmed. :(

My embarassing video game moment is in Metroid Fusion. When I first got my GBA and fusion when I was 7. In sector 2, in the lower areas, when you have to use a morph ball bomb to reveal a pillar that would help you get to the other side.

in original pokemon red and blue, i did not know how to use hm's or moves like dig, as a result i was stuck outside surges gym doing nothing but grind up my pokemon till a chance visit from my cousines showed me how, so i went to fight surge with a venesaur at level 40. rest of the game felt strangely easy after that much grinding x.x
My most embarassing moment war when I was 10 and just saw an episode of Orange Islands. Tracey used a Marill, and it seemed like it were really good. Then when I borrowed Sapphire from a friend, he had the Master Ball, and I used it on the Marill. Noone can top that mistake XD

My embarassing video game moment is in Metroid Fusion. When I first got my GBA and fusion when I was 7. In sector 2, in the lower areas, when you have to use a morph ball bomb to reveal a pillar that would help you get to the other side.
I was stuck there for 2 months... xD

in original pokemon red and blue, i did not know how to use hm's or moves like dig, as a result i was stuck outside surges gym doing nothing but grind up my pokemon till a chance visit from my cousines showed me how, so i went to fight surge with a venesaur at level 40. rest of the game felt strangely easy after that much grinding x.x
