I love this scene. I love the way that while Lucas and Brooke are talking, Peyton is just standing there, looking happy and cute by herself because she doesn't have anyone to celebrate with. I also love the way that when Lucas and Peyton hug, Peyton looks so sad and holds on like she never wants to let go of him.

The only reason Peyton came in between Brook and Lucas both times, was because she was in love with him. Everyone knows Lucas loved brook the second time, not the first. But deep down he has always loved petyon. Eventually that kind of love gets in the way of other loves. He can never let peyton go completely. That is what is so romantic about this entire show.
