@bgabr ppl are shooting 600yrds w/o any problems w/ this gun. The longest I've tried is 200 and I group under 2 inches.

Get rid of those cheap Weaver Rings if you want real accuracy. Scope mounts are well worth the extra money. Just a thought. Sweet gun though!!

i know this is gonna sound like a dumb question but how much does this gun and its ammunition cost?

not a dumb question... the gun was $549 and the ammo is anywhere from $13.99 for 20 rounds to $36 for some nice stuff... me and my buddy started reloading some nice ammo, so we got the price down from $36 to about $8 for 20 of them same ammo. You will not be disappointed.

sorry for the late reply... i didn't get an email on your comment. we are reloading hordady sst 165g with great success for both shooting at paper and live targets. If you will only shoot at paper targets, the hornady a-max 168g are awesome! BTW, did you get the rifle yet? I hear they are really hard to find these days. Let me know if you need help finding one... I may know a place that may have one or two still available. good luck!

ah thanks, i havent got the rifle yet because i can either get the sps tactical or i can get the remington 700 xcr at a really good price at the same place, both guns have excellent reviews so im still deciding between them lol

Got a .308 sps(t) myself. Mine doesnt seem to like any of the 150gr stuff I feed it, but factory match 168gr will put everything in a slightly ragged hole at 100yds. Not bad for a 600$ gun!

it beats me... there are bad ass rifles for a great price!!! the new ones kinda like this one (20" heavy-barrels ) cost almost $900... $350 more than what i paid for mine new.

BTW, they shoot great too... under 0.5 MOA @ 100 yards.

I f***ing love it!!!! Half-inch groups at 100 yards, and under 2 inches at 200 yards!!! Mine likes to eat Fed Soft Point 150 grain. My buddy and I are about to start reloading this weekend... hope to find a recipe that works just as well as the Fed SP's. Do I need to say more?!?!
