The Three Flames were Averill Ule Pollard (my dad) on bass, Tiger Haynes on Guitar and Loumel Morgan on piano. They had their own TV program, "The Three Flames Show" on NBC for thiry-nine weeks. When the show aired they had been performing at the famed Bon Soir night club in New York's Greenwich Village (8th Street) for five consecutive years. One evening Loumel suffered a heart attack while performing and died in my father's arms. They helped young artist like Barbara Streisand find her voice.
The piano player is my uncle Roy he died of a stroke July 1954. As kids my brother and I played this record over and over until we broke it. If anyone has a playable copy or knows how I can get one, I would appriciate any information.

I liked the little animation of the label swinging open to show a group photo of The Three Flames.

@1stPCFerret Thanks! I add things like that sometimes. Also see Three Flames Salt Peanuts for more animation.
