I have never done a mach calculation before, but using Wikipedia I got Youmu's top speed to be Mach 880991 at sea level.

Which definitely raises the question of why she keeps missing.

My guess? Reimu is hax.

And her top speed might be something relative of her absolute ultimate everything, I guess, many many many times faster than she can simply swing the sword in normal combat, eh?

@iceball3xd The top speed is her running speed, not her swinging speed, so yeah... I'd say that while she's fast, she needs to time her swings better.

Seeing as she can run at Mach 880991, her reaction time and her swing speed would have to be beyond superhuman to land a decent hit.

Although, with that kind of speed she could just run into her target. Danbooru calculated her energy to be equivalent to a few megatons of TNT. Little Myon is a pretty decent size nuke.

@tunoddenrub Actually the audio is in sync it's just with youma.. thats her style of fighting... (in swr and hisoutensoku as well) I guess it's just to catch the opponent of guard with noise then strike with Hakurouken or Roukanken

@Therealryuh20 No, it's really out of sync. Pay attention to when Suika starts spinning her arm for a punch, to when Reimu decks Komachi, and when Reimu summons the orbs of Hakurei for Fantasy Heaven. It's closer to sync by the end, but it never quite makes it.
