It's too bad they only used this body style for the Polara for only one year, the 1961 changed and I never cared for it
love the cars from the late 50s early 60s.The cars from the era of board drawing and clay models are true works of art.

Back in the early 80s i had a 2door plymouth fury3 with a 361V8 man it was wicked power..I wish i still had that fury!
Very pretty car. The 1960 Chrysler products still used a generator ( except possibly that year's Valiant). The '61's all had alternators.

Theres a car just like this in town but red and always gets lots of looks. It has a mirror roof inside. You can see the interior reflecting back.

@Unclemoparman As far as I can recall alternators started in 1963 on Chrysler vehicles, before then it was generators.
