lol cars ripping through concrete pillars and taking NO DAMAGE at all, yet you can run into another car and they will TOTAL their vehicle. what a joke. this game wreaks of the foul stench of FAILURE. I mean, envorimental damage, fine, as long as the car takes damage accordingly (hit concrete wall and BOOM you're dead). More realistic driving mechanics fine, Ridge Racer games kinda need this, but this game just looks so stupid.

This is pathetic, I loved Ridge Racer games up to Type 4 which is by far the best game of the series. I even got a PSP so that I could play Type 4 again! Namco has never built from that which is where they've gone wrong. This is just Flatout with the Ridge Racer name attached to it. Bring back REAL RACING ROOTS!!

So it's pretty much like a New Game while retaining RR's Drifting, too bad for 2012 Release Date. But the Gameplay differs from RR Series & RR:Unbounded.

Really looking forward to this game! Played it at GameFest and kept coming back for more! Seriously guys, don't hate it until you've tried it. Ridge Racer needed a shot in the arm to keep the series interesting. Graphics are Azz. Looks so bland and generic. This is not why you play ridge racer. To play a game that basically copies other franchises isn't the point of Ridge. You played ridge because it WAS the outsider. yeah, it got a bit stale, but fuck it was fun and stale!
