I have a question. Why did you mount at a 90 degree angle. Why not lined up with the controller ports?

@Clovervidia I answered this already in the past. It would have been too problematic to mount the screen facing the controller ports because of the disc lid. Then there would have been two hinges in the same place.

I would give you a thumbs up if this didn't exist already (I have one from Interact that functions the same way + detachable + I can still use the gamecubes component output to the television without the screen on)

@Joostriboy I just used the ones that came with the PSONE screen. I carefully positioned them in right places and used mountains of hot glue to hold it in place. Of course I apllied it inside the case so you can't see it.

That's very neat! However, I do question the fact that the screen is facing the left side of the console; was that necessary to fit the screen's components inside the GameCube?

The reason for that is the lid of the GameCube which covers the game. It opens to the front so it would have been pain in the ass to make two hinges in same place.
