So annoying when bugs like the SOFLAM's, probably blatantly obvious since the first playtest, still haven't been fixed. Buy the game today (2011), maybe get a finished product next year (2012).

Most players don't seem to know, so they don't check (it pays off to scan the skies and ground with the SOFLAM anyway, Recon equipment locks too), and so many vehicle rushes just crush a team.

Wait a minute, how did you lock on to that helo? Don't air vehicles have to be laser painted for javelins to lock on?

@FlyMaster100 Recon's SOFLAM. SOFLAM and Javelin make quite a combo.

@FlyMaster100 Yes, but sometimes the Soflam bugs, and even when painting a target it doesnt show up NOR does the Soflam guy get the points for painting it, BUT it still gets painted.

Thats why I just "Check" with the Javelin, and fire if I do get a lock :)

Thats why all the other missiles are a little slow of the ground, they arnt sure if its painted yet :\

Hopefully the next patch adresses this problem, and fix the soflam sensetivity bug :P

@drezz It only happens with venoms, I've never been able to get a mark on it, still works when aim at it with the javelin :)

@drezz certain vehicles will not display the soflam diamond mark like jeeps or transport helis, not a bug just poor design.

@joshuame505 The javlin rocket flys slower then a jet flying with afterburners on, but it doesnt stop following, so when the plane turns around, he is greeted with missiles coming 12'o clock(They dont always hit that way doh).
