While Phelps is great is another 6 more events.

Stop comparing, because both compete in different events.

look Cielo is a sprinter, phelps isnt. phelps is like an IMer and flyer, and sorta a 200 freestyler. Cielo is specilized 50 and 100 freestyler

you can't really compare Phelps and Cielo.

2 pretty different swimmers.

1 is a sprint specialist

the other, more of an all rounder, leaning towards the FLY

there is no doubt, Cesar is A LOT faster than phelps in the sprints. BUT Phelps is the number 1 swimmer BECAUSE he HAS won or medalled in more than 2 individual events.

thus phelps deserves more credit, BUT taking nothing away from Cielo.

yes cielo was quicker, but this is a team race, if you dont get gold, then cielo doesnt matter. cielos 100 matters in the 100 meter race, which he won, so thats great, but in this race, its not important
