It's a very different concept. Rather then being built on a football helmet platform which still transfers the shock to the brain, the head floats inside this helmet allowing greater force in strikes and safety for the wearer. It also does not need to be custom made for each wearer so it can be used by others safely. Plus it just looks cool!
