look everyone, the key is not off, it's just a little lower than the originial.

that doesn't mean that it's off-key.

it works perfectly well for my voice, because i have a pretty low voice, and i sound a lot better when i sing it this way.

I think it just sounds low to me because I am a soprano. There is so many different key versions to this for all different vocal parts. This key is the key that is in the play.

I think it depends on whether you are talking about the middle register or the high register. If you could sing this in your middle voice, (chest voice, etc) then you have a big middle register range (which is quite remarkable). In terms of head voice though, the notes are not especially on the high side.

All in all though, I think its more about the emotional dynamics and powerful voice needed to sing this song...I could sing it too, but its hard to get all the dramatic twists and diction.

It depends on how you sing it. If you belt it when it is supposed to belted, and you go down to those VERY low notes, then yes. :)

Hey, even if you're in your head voice for the especially high notes...yeah, you have a pretty good range.

not really...not even 2 octaves...the highest it goes up to is like d on the stave...most trained singers have almost an octave higher than that...u need a pretty high belt to sing this song though.
