Other cartoon shorts I remember on Nickelodeon were the Housecats cartoon, and one that had all zoo animals talking about the ups and downs of the zoo, and the one with a boy turning into a monster by imagining one thing after another and a girl shouting "ICK!" at the end, and the egg timer cartoon with all the greed sand characters. I wish I knew their names since I saw them a lot on both Nick and Nick Jr. Anyone else remember those cartoon shorts that aired on Nick so many years ago?

Thanks for posting this video!!! I have been wracking my brain trying remember what it was called and find it online. I remember it when i was a kid and it also freaked me out to no end and i had to mute the tv when it came on. I just wanted to look back after all these years and see what it was that was so creepy. Lol!

Wow! I remember this! I also was a little creeped out by this short. I actually find it incredible and also strange that other people were creeped out by this as kids. I guess maybe we were sacred from the way this short was animated or maybe this short presents a deep pscychological fear we have about our appearences and what we wish we could look like.

I didn't know this short exsisted in book form, but it does! The book came out in '94 and I ordered it online dirt cheap. I hope it's as haunting and creepy.

I started reminiscing about this a couple years ago after seeing some other Nickelodeon shorts but I could not remember what it was called.

I haven't seen this in so long yet it was as if I could still remember every line she was going to say before she said it.

Wow. Thank you so much. I've been after this for a long time. I haven't seen this in years and I loved it so much way back when (though the chin did indeed freak me out).

The animation, though creepy in spots, is really cool and well-done. It reminds me of Terry Gilliam's Monty Python cartoons or the show Angela Anaconda.

This short used to scare the living bejesus out of me when I was a kid. I used to have to turn the TV off or change the channel as soon as I heard that opening music. Glad I'm not the only one who was creeped out by it. But looking back on this, it's not so bad.  It's got a good message, actually. Then again, this is probably the first time I've ever been able to watch past "and my chin, it sticks out a mile."
