I saw that segment went it originally aired but can't remember how Sedro Woolley came up. Coincidentally, I grew up there and have a summer place in Anacortes. Btw, not just for retirees, Anacortes has a thriving music scene and nightlife.
Anybody from out of state is going to mispronounce half the names around hear... how many times have you heard "spo-CANE"?
And I must agree what Jiffxx says about Anacortes having a thriving music scene. Rise n Shine rocked the Waterfront Fest last weekend. And what about Oregon Donor? And what about LONELY FOREST getting a mention from Death Cab for Cutie?

WTF. What's so funny about Sedro-Wooolley. Sedro is a derivative of the Spanish word for cedar and Woolley is a founder's last name. We cut down lots of cedars and are super stoked on Mr. Woolley. Hyphens are all the new hype these days.
