How do you become a ball girl? Is it your job or part time job? Just curious!

@RCR9897 It's actually just a volunteer job. I live in the area, so it's easy enough to go there for two weeks out of the year. Anyone between the ages of 12 and 20 can do it, although I think they're letting that rule slide for me! You don't have to play tennis or anything, you just have to really know how the scoring works. The Fila uniform is given to us for free and we get to keep it. The best part is just being so close to all the players!

@happinessPhotography Haha, sure. I'm 19. Pretty much the oldest ball kid. The cut off point is meant to be 20 but I look quite young for my age. People are always surprised and think I'm lying when I tell them I'm now a sophomore in college.

Honestly, I have no idea! I wasn't really thinking "smell him, don't forget to smell him". It was really quick and I probably held my breath because I was so nervous! He just played a match so I assume he smelled sweaty. You know, that manly sweat smell. =P

We know not to ask the players about to go on court for autographs. Only after the match has ended. It's also up to the player whether or not he/she wants to sign. All we do is line up and let them come to us.
