I used the stock carburator vacuum plate which mounts between carb and intake. Some stock flathead intake manifolds have a provision/tube to be used as a vaccum source.

oh ok thanks! i bought mine at an antique store but i run mine off a 2cyl gast roc-r vacuum pump- for now!

i have one to. where exactly do you tap into the engines vacuum system to run the fan?
