When I was coming out as a gay man many years ago...young (21)...terrified of accepting who I really was...going on long walks by myself and finding who I was...I listened to this song over and over and over. The words "the crying game" to me were symbolic of the whole process of accepting that I was not like so many people. But that I had to be me if I ever wanted to be happy. I'd like to dedicate this tune to Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and all the victims of the tragedy that was 01/08/2011 . . . especially the family of the 9 yr old little girl Christina-Taylor Green's AND their neighbor . . . I'm a 'grown man' of 47 and I've shed tears everyday since our nation suffered yet another blow to our already bruised & battered hearts . . .
One of my childhood friends just past away from AIDS he was a father, someone's child. He asked me a couple weeks ago to do this for him, to play this song for him, he was a good friend, didn't care for his personal life style or how he lived his life, so all i have to say is that please to all of you, we all have a brother , a sister a son ,father or mother , we are all someone's child, lets not judge them , instead tell everyone HIV is not dead, protect yourself & the ones that love you
