Ross Bagdasarian did a GREAT & brilliant job with the original chipmunks back in the 60's and I loved it!!! But when his son came in the 80's, and again in the 90's, to try to rekindle the magic that his father started with the original chipmunks in the 60's was not quite the same as the original Alvin Show nor will it ever be. In all honesty Bagdasarian Jnr should have left well enough alone because you can't improve upon, or recreate, a masterpiece that was done right the first time around.

$2,000 times fifty? $2,000 was the same amount of money in 1960 as $20,000 is today! Due to inflation.

This is an audio masterpiece! And Ross only had two tracks to work with back then!! Any wonder that he won awards as an engineer?
