@mrdopman Try to submerge it in a bowl of rice for a day or two. The rice removes a lot of the moisture. Keep your device off and your battery out of the phone.

@ShowbiizLaLa12344 This was the first android device. It's extremely old and outdated, and I REALLY wouldn't recommend it. It's nice if you're geeky and enjoy stuff like this, but really get one of the newer devices.. If you want a slider, get the sidekick 4g, it runs android.

I am considering getting this phone back. I got rid of mine originally because it was just a large headache. It wouldn't always work when needed for example it would crash when I needed to make a phone call. If the glitches like that have been worked out then I plan on replacing my secondary phone, which is currently a Sidekick LX which is now obsolete, with the G1 again. Thanks for the info, it reminded me how much I miss my device!
