Thats not law and order thats the politics of controlling buearocrats who want to controll a small problem with a big solution. Waste of taxpayer dollars to restrict law abiding outdoor shooters who would rather NOT go to public ranges. now where is the second amendment when it comes to places to shoot??

I have never desired to to shoot a sign... Only because I set up my own targets to test my skill. Shooting sings only shows some sort of...lack of respect and just plain not cool. It's weird cuz most signs I've seen shot up are SHOTGUN shots! What does that prove? That you can shot? Nope, that you maybe drunk (illegal and stupid) or just shallow. I don't know, just my take. It also commucate a situation where I have to be on guard.
Would it help if someone organizes a well regulated "members only"gun club with membership passes,dues,official by-laws written,monthly meetings?This could be benificial for both the club and the D.O.W.You would have members keeping an eye on whats going on around the areas surrounding the designated shooting range.Like all clubs,everybody has their responsibilities.Like keeping the area safe and clean.Prez.,VP,treasurer,news letter editor.Try and present this idea to the DOW.Who knows ?
On the way to school theres this sign and it's got about 3 massive shotgun holes in it, which is funny because i live in Australia and Australia has really strict gun laws so it strange seeing things like that.
Not to mention, the cost of the sign is comming from the local taxpayers pockets. And those things are expensive. 30"x30" stop sign cost about $65. Thats about three trips to the range!
How far is the no target shooting zone? Yeah some idiots up by Broken Arrow did the same thing to a no shooting sign when they banned the shooting in that area due to rounds hitting houses in the area.

god that pisses me off, once there was a bunch of drunk 16 year olds down to a beach where we duck hunt and they where shooting signs, my uncil told me to grab the 30-06 and i blew the beer out of one of there hands from 150 yard away the bastards never did it again
