  • Looks amazing which model u have?

  • whats the dif btween bag, sparring and fight gloves?

  • @Longboardmaestro sparring gloves are softer so that when you hit the other guy more energy is absorbed by the blove, pad/bag gloves have harder padding

  • Wow, your reviews are fucking terrible. you clearly dont know shit about boxing..

  • @ratethisgear I can only find these short cuff gloves in 12oz on the rival site and some other site could you tell me where I can get these in 16oz with the short cuff thanks for the review and the help

  • awesome reviews, but you are by far the most BORING person on earth. You've got the functional personality of a tree sloth....but I value your reviews.

  • ratethisgear what sparring gloves do you prefer ?

  • this guy looks like mcgloven what is he doing boxing?

  • Rival seems much heavier than other gloves.

  • I'm getting a Velcro pair. Thanks for this review.

  • It looks like you fist guys on a regular basis......

  • cool gloves , I today buy new gloves MASTERS FIGHTING FIGHT EQUIPMENT FLAMES :) and is cool to fighting

  • what's the best this rival glove or the grant gloves?? plz answer :3

  • what ur tryin to say is the gloves feel like a vigina?

  • im confused, money is not the issue but what are the best sparring gloves?

  • @Jaz7s If money is not an issue I would deffinetly go with 'Winning' Gloves

  • I had these in Velcro and what a great well made glove it was,but sent them back as i didn't like the way the Velcro fastens in a diagonal direction across the wrist !

  • rival gloves are the best ! i dont feel any pain when im hitting the heavy bag, they're expensive but worth it. unlike the everlast evergel its a shitty product, my wrist is crying in pain everytime i hit the bag.

  • does anyone have a full proof way to tie them up when your by yourself?

  • @25jacked25 pre-tie it and slide you're hands in.

  • is this gloves good for bag?

  • @perestroikaMoska I wouldn't use any sparring glove for bag work. The padding isn't designed to take the stress of bag work and will break down a lot quicker. Bag gloves generally have a denser/stiffer padding than sparring gloves.

  • @bubkusjones so i think it will broke down when used continuously and frequently, is that right?

  • @perestroikaMoska Yeah. Get a pair of bag-specific gloves for your bag and pad work.

  • @bubkusjones yeah but it would still take like 3 years...

  • Rival quality is superb....and if you're in Canada, there are no customs fees...without a doubt the best quality at the best price point imo.

  • I got one now =)

  • would you prefer these or the grant pro training gloves for sparring?

  • @boxerkid09 i answered my own question with this one. i haven't tried on a pair of grants but i got the blue rival long cuff sparring gloves, and having smaller hands, you can't beat these for how snug and comfortable they are. great padding..glad i got these

  • i just stated boxing for 2 weeks what gloves should i get i was thinking about pro trianing gloves or leather super bag gloves whcih should i get . or should i get something else please respond back

  • Awesome review man I have basically the same gloves and I love them for bag or sparring. I like the lace track system but i feel like the way I do it is not good enough can you do video showing me how you would do them so I could compare. Thanks

  • Gonna get one of those next month =)

  • are this gloves good for just training??

i own Everlast protex and they r very good but they are wearing off so im trying to buy new one....

  • Im undecided I either want these gloves in short cuff 16 oz hoop and loop or Hayabusa 16 oz pro sparring gloves.......what would u recommend?

  • I love Rival boxing. Although they remind me of Fit-Box - great review man! wish I had them!

  • those r nice gloves

  • can you use these gloves on the bag and pads also? or will that ruin them?

  • hey would you recommend these or a pair of grant gloves?

  • I've heard Grant makes great bag gloves, but Rival is better for sparring.

  • Very good reviews man

  • good reviews man. keep up the good work. and btw... how do you rate these gloves compared to IMF ringside gloves? better or worse?

  • good question , i find these in long cuff slightly better for me the the imf tech

  • that's cool. They do look pretty well made. I was especially interested on their very unique cuff design.

  • You're the man, whoever you are Rate-guy.

  • @ratethisgear

For a guy who lives in a shitty room, you sure have a lot of dough to throw around.

  • man it looks beta in real life

    that just a pic

  • nice design gloves wow.....

  • Hey what would you suggest the Ringside IMF tech or the Rivals???

  • vote for a review of the hayabusa 16 oz.!

  • rivals are awesome nice design and great quality

  • Thanks for the review

  • Great review

do u think they are a high quality glove like Winning,Grant or even everlast????

or another tuff wear or century glove?

  • well the only cons he mentioned about the gloves were personal preference, so I'm guessing they're high quality like grant and winning as I've never heard anything bad about them.
