Isiah was a good coach, but a horrible GM. He lost his mind by making deals for guys that are not interested in playing team baskeball. He tried to use a college mentoring program with professional players, some with guranteed contracts. I'd hire him to coach but not to GM. He actually did a decent coaching job with the Pacers.
