@boomkittiethe3rd I believe " Who burned down Mr. Brinkers' store" was the original pilot episode as you can tell from the way it was filmed ( the episode was roughly filmed and the sets like Jamal's room were different.) Once the pilot got picked up, the producers I believe felt they had to introduce the origin of Ghostwriter and the team plus television pilots are shot at different times then the actual show. So the actor for Craig might not have been available to reprise his role at the time.

they do it in slow motion because they have to fill time space...sometimes if a show doesn't go all the way thru for a regular show, they try to do some cinematic tricks to fill the gaps...
