I'm 17. I've been playing PSO I & II + since I found it on the Gamecube so many years ago. I played PSU and PSO 0... I'm the only one in my school hyped for this game. And I would gladly give up every other game in a pledge of allegiance to Phantasy Star, if it would mean playing this game.

I just realized that there's a considerable amount of ghosting in this video (one frame of animation partially imposed on the next frame). Is it my monitor (which would be strange because this is ~24FPS and my monitor runs at 60hz with a 2ms response time) or is the way it was compressed a little buggy?

I am in conflict... and i don't want to troll the love I feel from the comments on this video. But what I see worries me. I'm only really and deeply familiar with PSO1+ I skipped the universe part. The whole jumping part sorta annoys me, as it doesn't make sense. I know I should modernize for this game...But so far I don't see this as a sequel to PSO, but Universe.

@Spacirelei This game is a culmination of ALL Phantasy Star games. It takes mechanics from them all to make one orgasmic ridiculous over the top awesome game that any Phantasy Star fan will absolutely love... Jumping would be useful in alot of situations. PSO2 FTW!!!!!!!

@AzurexFlamexKite I'll give it a try. I know some of my friends are super about this. I understand all of your arguments. I just always associated PSO as a modern version of Diablo in space. The added control mechanics makes me think that this is similar to Rouge Galaxy. I also think that SEGA is probably going to reinstate the Hunter Licence, at a time when everyone is switching to free to play with microtransactions.

@Spacirelei I'm going to go out on a limb and say you haven't watched any of the boss fight videos? Where they actually jump ON downed bosses and smash their weak spots for lolmassivedamage. Not to mention various cliffs to be scaled to reach higher portions of levels. xP
