  • WOW, Lyoto not running away for once.

  • typical machida not engaging what-so-ever

  • machida is fat!

  • song?

  • Herb Dean wtf are you doing here .

  • as usual, Machida evading ,

  • @thebarrochannel fucking hater, fuck you!

  • Lyoto has an underrated ground game that a lot of people don't see. I don't blame people who don't see it because they don't see it often.

  • Im watching the video again and Lovato was attacking while lyoto was escaping more. i saw 2 take downs and a pass on lyotos part but i havent seen the entire video.

  • I thought the other guy was taking it to lyoto on that one.

  • @hummurabi2010 thats becuase your a retard. machida threw him around like a rag doll and controled him the whole fight.

  • @mrMMA4L1F3 LOL if ur in houston you should stop by gracie barra westchase or team tooke.

  • @hummurabi2010 LOL i already got my team kid thx though. After seeing you thought machida was losing, you dont no much about mma, go look on the net more for trainers and use them on youtube LOL

  • @mrMMA4L1F3 Not asking you to join my team. just wanna jack ur ass up. If ur a cali kid then ill be training at renato sobral school all next week. Real Talk. im sure we'd be friends afterwards.

  • @hummurabi2010 Your not scaring anybody stupid ass, i train at both A.K.A and Gracie Jiujitzu in PH town, nor cal bitch im sure youd make good friends with everybody out here with that big mouth.... if it even exists outside of youtube which id put money on.... it doesnt.

  • @mrMMA4L1F3 LOL @ big mouth. i got nothing to prove here. ur not going to come out where ever im @ so its getting pointless. With a name like mrMMA you gots to be a serious mma expert.lol

  • @hummurabi2010 ....shut up already then

  • @mrMMA4L1F3 Who's the blackbelt @ the gracie gym your at ?

  • @hummurabi2010 LOL!! theres a bunch of blackbelts the most well known and creater of the gym is cesar gracie and tons of well known guys are here like big bear, diaz bros, mike robertson. shields, melendez bear johnnyboy kyle johnson and my boy jimmy is a brown belt near his black i can hang with brown belts

  • Domination by lyoto ese.... literally wouped his ass.

  • what is this PSL, LA SUB X?

seems like loads of mma fighters who 'usually' dont compete in grappling tournament such as machida, randy couture and jake shields compete there.

  • And that's because he likes fighting on his back stupid

  • Exgangmember thats my trainer so I know and that match he should have won

  • @cmlbbeast ur crying becuase ur trainer got wouped. Stfu. All u fags always cry when machida beats somebody u like and u say machida cheated..... just like the shogun fight, bj penn fight, blah blah blah.... judges are smarter then you, thats why you dont judge fights, they do.

  • I do hate on Machida. I think he is the worst thing to happend to MMA. I litteraly runs from engagement. Everyone of his opponents have thrown their hands up in question as to when Machida is going to fight. They switched the phrase AVOIDS ENGAGEMENT for elusive. Its great to not take damage in a street fight, but in a MMA match you need to fight. They get paid to put on a good fight, not be elusive. MOST boring fight ever machida vs machida. Oh and im not really a Rammpage fan, justhate lyoto

  • @TheNightwolf13 WOW !!! not kool, you're mother done a horrible job raising the shit that came out of her(YOU)

  • @TheNightwolf13 grow the fuck up ese, get off machidas dick. You sound like a little crybaby. Imm not a big fan of lyoto but i got nothing but respect from what ive seen from him.... he gets down in all his fights. Every fight ive seen, machida was taking no damage and at the same time kncking down his oppent....he eirther wins by U.D or KO. only person i seen really beat him was shogun in the rematch with that wild punch... rampage didnt do shit, not sure how he won. Now coutures up next.

  • @SurenoR3dRAG Your definately an idiot. I am ashamed that you are probably hispanic... I am suprised they let you watch something as violent as the ufc in prison.... The only thing I am complaining (crying) about would be Machida running from engagement. He set up the blueprint for other fighters to only try and win by poiints. I like watching fighters going out and trying to hurt each other and end each other.... Like Clay Guida. He isnt the best fighter by any means but even when he loses its

  • @TheNightwolf13 wow ur a fucking retard since when did machida run from "engagement" when he hurts everybody he fights in the stand up..... somebodys pretty stupid, go back to the bars and watch fights there becuase your not ready for mma and cant open up to other styles except losers like clay guida who cant even see becuase of his hair. what a retard

  • @SurenoR3dRAG its a great fight. Oh and F*&^ the word ELUSIVE.

  • @TheNightwolf13 Seriously, thanks to joe rogan the vocabulary of dumbasses has grown exponentially. Elusive! Unorthodox! WANNA KNOW WHATS REALLY SCARY ??!?!!?

  • @TheNightwolf13 Randy disagress with you

  • This video adds fuel to the hate I have for machida. Just like cmlbbeast and a few others mentioned he shouldnt have won. The guy runs from engagement unless they are absolutely on his terms. Lavato Jr is hands down a much better grappler. machida frustrates his opponents untill they just say screw it and try to chase him...

  • @TheNightwolf13 So machida dodging is now called running and avoiding to fight?? sounds like a machida hater to me.

  • @Exgangmember Hell yeah. If there were a Machida hate club Id be the President....

  • @TheNightwolf13 its all good, keep hating... you stay watching his videos hahah we know that for a fact.

  • Lyoto 'the Whale' Machida

  • really!

  • Machida didn't do crapp

  • I think Rafael should have won.I mean machida kept shaking out and standing up in a grappling match!

  • @cmlbbeast are you stupid? Machida man handled him, its a grapple match. Learn something about it. Machida wasnt on his back once

  • wow, even in a pure grapple match machida isnt on his back! hes always on top. I dont think i ever seen anybody take machida down besides SOKOUDJU and machida instantly sweeped him over and was on top again in seconds!! hes going to be a problem to any fighter. You better attack machida with everything you got or else your done.

  • @Exgangmember See the RAMPAGE fight?... Plus its hard to take anyone down when they are running.

  • @TheNightwolf13 you call that a takedown?? machida poped back up in 2 seconds. proves my point about machidas skill, cuz rampage had nothing to offer but a split decision win by hugging him on the cage and once again.... wining a split decision win he didnt earn... people had to make up an excuse about oct control to find a possiable way rampage won that figh hahaha, fanboys are the worst. I feel bad for machida... rampage/shogun fans just talk so much shit, machida beat them both.

  • Machida damn

  • Solid BJJ for a Karate guy.

  • Machida just simply over-powered rafael

  • common.....there is no such thing as avoiding fight..Machida played smart game, mostly top control stuff and if you cant score a point against someone who is more defensive then you dont win..simple. agressive fighter is great but with purpose..no point being agressive for nothing and no outcome..but I think majorit of times more agressive fighter wins

  • Looks to me like Lovato couldn't stop the takedown.

For Machida to hang in with one of the best grapplers in the world and win is amazing.

  • agreed, he is truly a mixed martial artist. he will reign at 205 for a long time

  • @crazyjames1233 Alas, time proved you wrong...But I think Machida will be back unless faced against Jon Jones...

  • @maurizio82 theres a new way to beat machida.... FALSE OCT CONTROL hahah, anyone can beat machida now if it goes to decision...

  • @702decatur why hes a grappler too

  • Yea hes a grappler but not in the same class.

Lovato's main discpline is Jiujitsu and being he's Saulo's student he has great Judo.

Machida is out of his element if you will. Its the same as if Shogun won the mundials.

  • @702decatur Shogun did win the mundials you moron.

  • @Tristansomerset Well let me clarify it for you then retard... Win at the black belt level.

You must be one of those idiots who think people who enter the master division and color belts should be considered "world champs." Sorry if your standards are low..

  • @702decatur Very hard to compare a black belt to a world champion black belt, big difference! Big big difference!

  • @702decatur you win a world title at any belt rank at any age and i along with the rest of the bjj community will gladly call you a world champion

  • The problem with this train of thought is it promotes lesser standards for Jiujitsu. It goes along the lines with people getting belts without putting a gi on. Or jiujitsu teachers who don't know any of the self defense moves. Calling someone a world champion should have a higher standard then someone who played twice a week and somehow squeeked out a win against 2 other people and come away with a world title. I think you are only speaking for yourself.

  • @702decatur A blue belt world champion will run through your schools brown belts. A purple belt world champion will make your head black belt instructor shit himself. The lower the belt rank the more people you got to go through. Shogun won the mundials at 3 different belt levels.

  • @Tristansomerset now you are talking about things you have no idea about. I will say this I would run right through you. Do you even know any real world champions?

Why don't you come out from behind the keyboard and let's see you back some of your so called expertise.

  • @Tristansomerset What a waste of sperm... You have no clue what you are talking about but if you wanna set something up between me and you then I'm down..

  • especially considering he puts so much time and dedication into arts other then bjj and sub wrestling. it really is amazing.

  • Armbarforyou I'm not a hater per se, I just think aggressivness should count for alot more. The more "elusive" a fighter is, in other words avoiding the opponent, the further jiu jitsu is removed from real fighting.

    Unfortunately I think that's what's happening!

  • I guess alot of predictions were right cause Lyoto in deed killed evans and became the champion....lol

  • Haha, did you see his last two fights? Quite the runner, huh?

    Long live the champ!

  • as long as you dont take any damage there is no way you could lose a fight

  • i dont know why all the hate. To me it looked like all lyoto did was avoid.....well everything then hit one throw. Well whatevs i guess and i do compete in bjj quite frequently

  • Lyoto should get a title shot ASAP

  • Amen brother! But rumor has it that Rampage will get it first...

  • They don't want him to be a champion because the rednecks who don't understand his brilliant technique think he is boring. But once he makes a fool out of shogun and liddell they won't be able to deny him any more.

  • I'm a redneck WITH a grappling background but I hate idiots like the guy below me who don't think the fight is good unless its a sub or ko. I love the way machida fights, they said he should get a title shot by end of 09 and one consolation is they are paying him a lot better than guys like jardine. After his win bonus at 94 he made 120k (only 5k less than bj "the spoiled bitch" penn") so atleast they pay him well, and I think they are just trying to get page back in the mix bc he IS so popular

  • Ur wish came true.....Machida vs Evans UFC 98

    Machida is gonna kill Evans

  • @IMTHETRUTHH and he did

  • @IMTHETRUTHH

Your prediction came true.......Machida killed Evans!

  • Lyoto looked kinda out of shape for that one.

  • Yeah he's just recently started to actually look in shape

  • let them have a rematch then in mma rules lol

  • Lyoto by whatever he wants.

  • NICE!

  • 1. He held top position throughout the match.

    2. He passed guard to side control at least once.

    3. He scored some nice takedowns.

    4. He had great defence.

    5. The judges awarded the win to Lyoto and they know better.

    So he WON.

  • well said.

But I just don't like the fact that Lovato came close to subbing Lyoto and didn't seem to get credit for that from the judges

  • Close to subbing =/= subbing.

If you have many submission attempts and fail then it can mean only two things:

    - you're shitty at submissions

    - your opponent is great at defence

    So more credit to Lyoto.

  • That's Lyoto beating a BJJ Mundial champion!!!

And who said Machida's jitz were overrated? They're UNDERRATED!

Go Lyoto - future UFC LHW Champion!

  • I don't know much about Jiu-Jitsu but it clearly looks like Lovato won this match. Lovato came close to subbing Lyoto about 6 times, and then I don't see Lyoto getting close at all to subbing Lovato. I really don't understand the scoring there. And, by the way, Lyoto almost got subbed by Blue Belt Tito Ortiz. That's Thiago is far more dangerous to Lyoto than Tito is. If only Lyoto would listen to me and focus on Jits and Karate only. Screw Muay thai boxing. that crap is lame

  • "I don't know much about Jiu-Jitsu..." so don't comment on the subject.

    Lyoto clearly won this match.

Lyoto had his shoulder out of Tito's triangle. It wouldn't have worked.

Lyoto's not training MT at the moment anyway.

    eot

  • from the pictures and video, it clearly looks like Lovato did way more than Lyoto in this match. If you know anything about Jiu-Jitsu, hotara86, then maybe you can tell me what lyoto did to earn the "W" in this match

  • ok, a takedown is 2 points a guard pass is 2 points, submission attempts are no points but in some tournaments an u get an advantage which is like half points kinda, if the score is a draw then they look at advantages, i don't think lovato scored a point mate. lyoto one this, domination.

  • You don't have to tell ME. I know Lyoto won.

  • You can count at least 2 takedowns on machida's part. in a grapplnig match, that's 4 points. Tito Ortiz has been grappling and practicing subs for YEARS as well. c'mon...give credit where it's due. this is coming from a Lovato student....
