it bothers me that someone thinks this deserves gold. Did you see that girl from Romania? Wow! Grace, power, and perfection! This deserved either silver or bronze. Can't decide between this routine and Nastias, but I was happy with the placement. =)

@mjdub05 one thing that didnt bug me about this olympics was the floor final placment. Im sorr but even shawns team mates have said that sandras routine was absolutly amazing and it was. it deserved gold.

I'm simply stating that I'm unsure if this routine (SJs) was silver medal worthy. Nastia's rocked just as much as this one. But I'm generally happy with the placement.

@mjdub05 What the fuck, are you serious? Nastia's floor is horrendous to watch. She shows no emotion, her form is disaterous, and it's one of the most boring routines of the Olympic games.

If everyone hit that night Nastia wouldn't have stood a chance of getting in the medals. Actually, Shawn is lucky to even get silver, seeing as if Cheng Fei hit Shawn would have only gotten bronze.

The 2004-2008 cycle was VERY weak. There were very few all around competitors. The amount of medals you have doesn't make you good/bad

Nastia is boring, messy, and never shows personality. And, her winning the Olympics was not a very good thing for the sport at all.

@mjdub05 No, Nastia's ring leap is good, but Pavs is MUCH better. Yang Yilin has better handstands. Also, getting up to Handstand Nastia always separates her knees which is a deduction.

High start values mean nothing. Actually, usually having higher start values means you're messier and your routines are very boring. Look, same with Nastia's!

Anna Pavlova sacrificed SV for artistry and she is MUCH better than Nastytard can every dream of being at ARTISTIC gymnastics.

@mjdub05 Nastia's execution of the ring leap is good, but her landing of it is usually jerky, in comparison to Pavs who flows down, Nastia's 'drops' down. There have been quite a few gymnasts with better ringleaps than Nastia over the last decade.

@mjdub05 Eh, Nastia's switch ring on beam is nowhere near Pavlova's. I mean, it's great, but she shows nothing close to the head release or back arch of Anna's leap. That's not being an idiot, it's just observing the leap. If you can find me one switch ring by Nastia even close to what Pavlova did in Beijing EFs, I'll change my mind, but I haven't seen one yet.

1. its unusual that the gymnast 1st up gets the gold. the only 2 times i've seen it was this meets bar final [questionable due to the tiebreaker] and the 2009 world floor final
