Words cannot describe how impressed I am. Every single press of a key is done at the perfect moment. I spent months and months trying to beat 25 and never did. I even lost my job due to staying up all night and not getting enough sleep. I guess I'll never reach the heady heights of 24 seconds on Green Hill Zone, but then, we all have to accept that there will always be someone better than us.

The stage that started it all huh? I used to play this stage over and over again at Circuit City while my parents did what they needed to do. Never owned Sonic 1 though, yet I do have all the other side-scroller Sonics.

funny, their was a day in my childhood that I remember like yesterday, it was the day when I completed ghz act 1 in 23 seconds. I swear to god this isn't a joke. when I searched youtube for a wr for ghz act 1 and found that everyone beleivs that 24 sec is the wr, I got really, really pissed. If only I had a camera or something so I could have recorded it. why I can't do it again and show everyone? because my friends, in order to have this record, you must love Sonic with all your heart.

How do you make that little jump in the loop-de-loop?

That's a jump that requires some good timing, towards the beginning of the loop, jump and hold DOWN, and then when you get towards the left-top part of the loop, jump again while still holding DOWN. If you time it right, you'll start going really fast.

Amazing...I'm finally glad I saw a video of someone getting it in 24 seconds.

I've been trying for over a year to get 24 but I keep getting 25...over...and over...

I definitely have the patience, hopefully it'll pay off soon.
