It may lag for some people. I'm not sure why. It was fine when it was originally uploaded, but since the advert appeared, it now lags for some people.

It depends on how fast their Hard drive can read (all youtube video's are stored in the tmp folder.) and how fast their computer can decode the video.

not necessarily, if your pc is running other programs that are accessing your HDD youtube won't be able to access it fast enough. The CPU is not the only factor nor is the GPU.

True copying a file to a memory stick or installing a file can slow it down but I am sure that the videos most of the time save on RAM as only files that are used frequently (Google Logo) are saved on the temp folder, most of the people here have a CPU or RAM problem.

Also moving around files in the HDD needs CPU power so that could be why you may see lag when moving around things

You can check just press CTRL + ALT + DEL and see if your CPU is maxed out.

I run linux and have a quad core cpu with 8gb of ram, the problem is not with me but with other people. if you go to your temp folder that is were youtube video's are saved not in the ram (unless you mounted temp to ram like i did).
