We also have a monster here in the philippines called a tektek. This monster is always a woman who can cut her body in half, then grows wings so her upper part can fly. She hunts at night, preferring to eat the unborn fetus of a pregnant woman using her long tongue. And why we call her a tek tek? Because there is a huge black bird here which makes a sound of "tik tik tik tik". The scary part is if you see a black bird on top a pregnant;s house, it could be the monster in disguise... O.o

For the people who asked, Tek Tek is just supposed to be in Japan...but all of the urban legends there are really messed up, like the disfigured woman who hides in alleys, or the women who's head detaches at night and eats people. They are pretty cool if your into that stuff...
