    Steve

  • Just like watching the movie! Smooth and realistic. Very convincing!

  • Thanks so much!

  • Excellent!!

  • Thanks a bunch ActionGuy.

  • Beautiful! But, the soundtrack from the second season opener "Jonah and the Whale" would fit better for this video.

    Just a suggestion.

  • mearp69...thanks!

  • VERY nice

  • Bravo! Back when I was a pool-rat, I would have given my right nut for this.

  • Youtube won't let me post links

  • Thank you and you can see more on my website And for the parts:

  • where can i buy the parts for this kit?....thanks~! ...great job too~!

  • Thanks!

  • Great underwater shots. The ship is so stable and turns just like the real thing. All I can say is "Long Live the Seaview."

  • Motor. A single 550 out of a Aquacraft King's Ransom connected to an internal pump jet that outsources to the two nacelles.

  • hi mate

what motors are in your seaview?

    cheers

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks!

  • Long Live Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea! This video is great!!

  • That is a really cool model. Unbelievably stable! Now all you need is a giant whale model! *****

  • U did and EXCELLENT JOB with the sub. What is the max depth you can take it? A new show title: VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SWIMMING POOL!

  • Thank you. your English is fine!

    Steve

  • Hie,

the name of this submarine is "the NEPTUNE" and the song is 37 years old. In France this tv serie was "VOYAGE AU FOND DES MERS" in 1970 !!!!

scuse me for my bad english.

  • Thank you!! What company makes it? It is fascinating!

  • You will love it! Enjoy it and have fun!

    Steve

  • Well I should be making my order from Big Dave in two weeks. I cannot wait for it to be done and in my sub.

    Cheers Steve

  • Excellent.....

  • Let me make myself clear that it may help to have the bow planes. Since I haven't tried them myself I can't really comment with experience. However from the way this boat behaves It's safe to say it will work without them. I did use the D&E mod package for the rudders, stern planes which are excellent work. Saved me a great deal of time. Happy building.

  • Wow that was fantastic. I haven't built mine yet. I need the sub-driver. I was going to go with DM'S subdriver and bow-planes but seeing this seaview run so well and turn well I may not use working bow planes.

  • Thanks JungleLord!

    Steve

  • Excellent build and I will be putting mine together very very soon. Thanks so much for the excellent video.

    Cheers.

  • And to clear up another great mystery. I did forget to put back the FS-bay door. It is held on with magnets and how I install the battery. It makes no difference to the trim at all.

It has been said that I can only dive level at a snails pace. That's not true. I'm diving at about half throttle. Although I can dive faster with the same level results I'm not interested in the Seaview being a rocket but rather it have a nice scale appearance.

I did not use directional veins in the bow tubes.

  • Additionally no APC was used or needed.

  • So no bow planes. I hope this ends the controversy about the Seaview needing them. This video shows a lot of video (not the lucky passes) of her nice and level from dive to level trim over and over.

    Steve

  • Thanks Reid!

  • that looks great steve!!!

    it is so beautiful underwater!
