  • do u live in aitkin

  • excuse me...what does BNSF stand for ?

  • Burlington Northern SantaFe

  • I had that lead unit back in 2005 and that was one of the nicest Geeps I`ve ever had,Sioux City,IA to Granite Falls empty rock U train-units to Willmar.

  • Where to these smaller trains operate? I used to live in Aitkin, and I never see these small trains where I reside now(Staples/Motley/Wadena region).

  • This one travels three days a week between Superior, Wisconsin and either Brainerd, Pillager, or Motley, depending on where there are cars to deliver and/or pick up.

  • That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. Thanks.

BTW, did you get any pictures of the derailment at Motley? I went by the other day, and a few cars were still there.

  • No, I didn't, but the Brainerd Dispatch's Spotted galleries had a few albums of good photos.

  • I hear CP baught minnesota pacific for 1.5 mill and according too cnn some rich dude just baught like 40 more shares of BNSF there stock went through the roof

  • I like it. What do you use to shoot video?

  • Just an old 8mm camcorder. It's a bit more work to transfer video to the computer than I might like, but it works all the same.

  • Just looked again... isn't the caboose supposed to be on the END of the train?

  • Sounds like they never let off the horn when they went through town! Nice video, more...?

  • No, they really don't. I used to work in the building next to the old station(it's a Marathon gas station). The again, the town itself has several crossing in close proximity to each other.
