Thats very good mate! I tried to make something like this and i ended up electrocuting myself so i stick to hand turning now. I would really like to see what rods you have done.
Thanks for the kind words. Comparing it to professional models I have used it has some disadvantages - you have to up the driver drill to a 240v version to get sufficient speed for sculpting grips when building a new rod.
But it also has some real advantages including much better speed control, more stable blank security in both the rollers and the driving mandrel.
Hey that is pretty cool. Are you able to turn and shape cork grips with that also?

@tiredtridude Was able to shape hypalon by using a 240 volt drill in the vise. Never tried cork but I am sure it would not be a problem.
