how do you get him interested in other toys, or doing things with toys? cause my little ChihXpschr isn't interested in anything! I just got a really soft squeaky ball that she shows some signs of liking lol. I did realize that she likes softer, easier o chew toys cause she is old.
Whenever he does something I want I would praise him and give him a treat. Like when I tell him to lay down. Even if he make the slightest effort to lay down I'd praise him. When he finally lays down I'd praise and give him a treat. He's a pretty quick learner. He usually can do something on command after a few treats. He's no way disciplined but he can obey simple commands.
hey how did you get your dog to stay without running off exploring. my dog will just run off and he is now 10 mounths, but i got him at 8 mounths old from the shelter. can you tell me how you got your dog to stay without running off? cause i'd really like to run with my dog without having to hold the leash.
teach it to stay. look up tutorial on youtube. how i did it is i make him stay while on the leash. when he stays and calm, I take off the leash. if he runs off, i go get him and bring him back and start over until he doesn't run off without permission. took a while for him to learn and there's probably better ways.
