i think she, like many artists, is exploring what producers or the studio experience can lend. she says that she is always cautious with the addition of any instruments/effects i think she just likes it. she doesn't want to be a superstar. i don't think she is concerned with being mainstream or not or being portentous or not (she gets called both) i think she is just exploring different sides or her aesthetic. i mean... she listens to hip hop/blues/indie/classical... and who knows what else...

iTunes isn't that accurate with classifying the genres of artists. For example: It said that Bjork was electronica, then pop, a month later.
