Adam is a class act. Yes he's gay but he doesn't let his sexuality define him in totality. He's not out there advertising himeself as gay, as much as say Simon Cowell is advertising himself as hetero.
If Adam does not win, he will still be successfull after American Idol. He doesn't have it in the bag, he's got it made.

A true artist DOES and is SUPPOSE to 'act out', not just SING the song - it makes the delivery more real. It's much easier to connect with a performance when someone is singing from their heart and not just singing the words they memorized on a sheet, most of the top 36 could do that. Adam has the unique ability to go that step further and be convincing rather than just simply reciting the verses. Plus, his performances are entertaining, not dull and dreary - not easy to do.

hmm, i see what you are saying. but to me, he looks totally solid in himself, that's who he is and it suits him. his background is theatre so he has been taught to sing with emotion etc. i think he does know who he is and he seems pretty genuine to me
another great performance by adam lambert! randy dude he's been ready since day 1 of the idol contest! love the way he pours out emotion into his songs just kinda melts you...

anyways,
even if he loses adam will do great and he has a heck of a career ahead of him.
