  • trailer transformers dinobots ? ^_^

  • I like the german version better. I don't speak german, but (as with most things spoken in german) it just sounds angrier.

    :-)

  • ha, The Germans again XD

  • This was directed by the guy who will direct Alien Prequel.

  • That was cool till the chick started dancing around at the end.

  • robot lady PURTY!

  • So dayum awesome!

  • But the great apes are not direct ancestors to Homo Sapiens! We have a common ancestor! *science*

    Nitpick aside, great commercial!

  • background is Teide National Park, Canary ISlands, Spain. My home hehe , casually.

  • that was pretty cool

  • oh god their going to rebail against us and were going to be no match

  • Bullcrap! There's no way a robot sabre-toothed tiger could take down a robot Tyrannosaur!

  • true

  • no not really , but the tyrannosaurus ran on coal , the sabretooth on some kind of diesel xD so the sabertooth is simply faster ;p

  • Speed alone won't help.

  • It can if there are about 5 at once which there were. thats how they attack

  • @jackkoffin1

no but a whole mess of them can

  • they cut they dialouge at the end it was the trippest part

    i was getting goosbumps

  • More transhumanist/singularity propaganda.

  • What are they advertising ;(

  • the stupid superiority of humans

  • For the whole shop.

  • cool video!

  • with wat software is made this ,vue?

  • I think lightwave or maya

  • the T Rex looks like Grimlok from Transformers.

  • end is so damn disappointing. otherwise it is very well done

  • oh my god!

  • bruno aveillan did 'sexy robot girl' too. for gilette. difference is, his is actually sexy.

this on the other hand, is all lovely and hi tech. but where's the humanity? the emotion?

  • Im confused.

  • wow...

    i love this sh..

  • DD31D,

I think the idea when directing a commercial is to think "How can I take something this simple and mainstream and make it memorable and unique?" If this weren't a Saturn commercial, it would be a very intriguing short film. I don't see how the fact that it's a commercial hurts it in any way.

  • Well, it's ok - but I prefer the Guinness evolution ads - far more humour...

Think he'll be getting a lot of help on narrative from Ridley for the Alien prequel thang... (I hope)

  • You're all easily pleased. This was a waste of time. Pretty to look at, but at the end of the day its a commercial for 'saturn'. And who really gives a flying f*ck about 'saturn'? Imagine what this hack is gonna do to the ALIEN franchise?!

  • Wow!

  • :OOOOOOO

  • Ridley Scott picked the director of this to direct the Alien prequel.

  • better than transformers 1 and 2 combined.

  • SWEET!

I'd already shared the shorter version when I saw THIS.

    Impressive.

    Most impressive.

  • absolutly cool..... total LOL

    5/5 hehe ;-D

  • wow amazingggg work !!

  • wow amazing work !!

  • grinding rock algae --> wire worm -->

clockwork shark --> Da Vinci- esque pteradactyls --> coal powered T-rex --> Internal combustion engine tigers --> electronic ape --> digital man --> Saturn woman

  • Wow, that's so amazing. I just realized that.

  • you forgot nanotechnology fly

  • you forgot the miniature technology fly

  • Actually, the worm is made of rope (one of the most important early technology) and the shark is simply metal. The pterodactyls are indeed clockwork.

  • Nice
