From those trumpet lessons, I learned to read music, it was easy to teach myself the 6 and 12 string guitar and the piano. It is all the exact same music - just different instruments!! When you are in your 20's -- being able to play music is a chick super-magnet - trust me on this one!! Ever seen a good musician with an ugly woman? Think about it -- LEARN MUSIC!!!!
