The show was pretty good; especially the interviews with Park Chan-Wook. But why wasn't Kim Jee-Woon mentioned? He's one of the greatest directors working at the moment!
Indeed, to describe how bad it is, it's like putting those music to the Japanese film documentary. (By then, I am sure, even some Westerners will point out the mistake and criticize the documentary)
Which reminds me, that the Westerner's uneducated stereotype of Korea is (still) that of something between China and Japan, even on a very well made documentary such as this one.
I was hoping to hear something about Memories of Murder and its director's other films but I suppose it wasn't released yet when this series came out. Otherwise, fucking great. Watched em all!
lol "did he just head butt a guy with a helmet? (rewind) oh yeah.."

I love this series and it introduced me to a lot of great international films, but they ruin the ending to every single film; which is such a pain.

Whats the film in the opening?

It's called Shiri. It's half an hour too long and not dissimilar to Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Nevertheless I enjoyed every minuted!

Who is the stupid music director of this documentary film? All the background songs are Chinese, not Korean at all!
