I'm an atheist, but alright. My point was that it is a real possibility to be arrested and held for 48 hours without reason nowadays. I was simply saying that I didn't want to run the risk of something happening to me because we are losing our rights. I am a strict constitutionalist, but I am worried that the government is not giving that document any regard anymore. I said that I don't consider the constitution because it isn't being followed anymore.

Sad though historically. Hitler was, obviosuly, hated for killing millions of Jews to get his point across. He did, however, change his nation. The country had huge ammounts of debt from WWI and Hitler made them into a country to be reckoned with. People did intollerable things for Hitler because he brought respect to his home country.

republicans, are supposed to be conservatives. but many are not. Ron paul is a conservative. George bush is not. Nor is john mcCain, although it looks as though obama is the chosen one here. maybe they will kill him and have clinton sworn in. who knows what these monsters are capable of. My personal opinion is that you vote for mcCain or obama, and wether they kill him and install clinton, or bush cancels the election after an event, doesnt matter the result is the same.. they're all fascists.

If Godwin's law applies here then it most definitely applies when comparisons between Bush and Hitler. Only thing is that Bush and Hitler have NOTHING in common though Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler and Obama do share a common thread.
