I had a dream last night that I texture hacked SSB 64 and made a Charizard who for some reason had Link and Samus's moves and shot missles (like the ones from the Metroid series) from his mouth as a F-air, which is wierd cause in the 64 version, Samus doesn't have missles.

Ivysaur is the worst of the three, he has terrible air game and horizontal air speed + abysmal recovery, though he can rack up damage extremely quickly.

Charizard can also rack up damage extremely quickly with his rock, though not as much as Ivysaur. Charizard is the most powerful with great range and is the 5th heaviest character and has best recovery of PT pokemon which makes him best while in high percentage.

Note that Squirtle is the 2nd lightest, so be careful since he's easily KOed.

Whish they made it so Pokemon Trainer can change to any character from the game series! Like Gold, Crystal, May, Brendan, Dawn, or even the Rivals like Gary/Blue and Silver!

As for the Pokemon, they would change depending on the Trainers region! And have similar attacks to those of Charizard, Squirtle, and Ivysaur! To bad they didn't think about that!

Out of all the things squirtle is definitly not weak.

Squirtle is a great spam breaker.

Ivysaur is my fav because he is the most unique and has better defence of all of them, and his upsmash kills at even 50%.

Just keep whipping and throwing leaves and until they jump over vinewhip. then sneak in a smash.

Charizard is cool and has amazing recovery, thats his thing. Plus flamethrower is nice.

Just keep burning them and then land a fly, rocksmash or uptilt.

It doesnt matter i use em all.

It might be important to know that Squirtle's withdraw makes it invulnerable and Charizard's Fly makes it immune to flinching for a brief period of time.

Although in the description you said that Squirtle was fast and weak, Charizard was slow and powerful, and Ivysaur was between the two, but watching this vid, Ivysaur appears to be a much slower runner than Charizard. Is Charizard really faster than Ivysaur, or did I miss the part where Ivysaur runs at full speed?

And gotta love that trainer in the background who can't catch up to his Pokémon. :P

Actually, squirtle is his fastest pokemon. It would make sense if charizard was the fastest (100 base speed), but then he'd be cheap. Really strong, ability to fly... That plus super speed? He'd be very hard to beat.

i don't think i'd consider the ice climbers a powerhouse character. i think they are only striong because they land 2 of the same attacks at the same time for twice the damage... and i'd consider DK a fighter(decent strenght, easy to combo with in air and on land Ex: lucario, fox)

Charizard is the 6th strongest character in the game and can KO around 65%, Ivysuar's seed bomb(up smash) can KO arround 70% and squitle can KO 80%. Charizard is the Powerhouse but because of the info above I call the whole Character Powerhouse. The whole character is consider a powerhouse and since Red(the pokemon trainer) was a final boss it makes sence. (Ex Bowser, DK, Dedede, Ganondorf, Dedede). Dedede was a final boss in KDL1 and DK was a final boss in the 1st DK games and Mario vs DK.

Squirtle is ok for me. Ivysaur can kill you quickly(I was sent flying with %50 and I was ganondorf). Charizard is also powerful, but he just has 1 jump and 2 aereal jumps and I have a hard time at recoverying.

I prefer squirtle because of his awesome speed, jump height, and deadly Up smash. Ivysaur is awesome with long range attacks and really usefull bulletseed attack, and Charizard is a kick ass Dragon!!

I think Ivysaur's Up Smash is a lot better than Squirtles...i've freaking KO'd Bowser at only 50 or so with a fully charged smash with Ivysaur XD

I don't like it either. If you don't switch out your Pokemon, they become extremely weak. However, you gain invincibility frames when the new Pokemon comes out, so that's your chance to run or counter.

You should also add that if you spam down B where you change pokemon, you become alot weaker. The more you switch between pokemon, they become weaker.

The best thing to do is start out as Squirtle, switch to invysaur in the 50~70% damage to avoid weakening your pokemon, then switch when your above 100% as Charizard as he's alot harder to knockoff.

If they want to make a better game than Stadium (Since Colluseum, XD, and Battle Revolution all failed), They just have to take the Smash Bros Engine, throw in every Pokemon in there Unlock the stronger ones and the Legendaries of course, or maybe keep the legendaries for bosses in a story mode etc, and there you have it, a best selling alternative to smash bros and a true successor to Stadium.
