@xtoozibit no you won't, I felt the same way and then once I got out there to meet new people I found hope. Its all about going out there and making your presence known. Now in my 40s I am having the time of my life. When I am in my 60s I tend to reinvent myself and make the best of things. Take the negatives out of being alone and think of what you have and foget about what you do not have and you will be ok.

The musical component to this song IS derived from Rachmoninov's Piano Concerto Number 2, second movement. Carmen even admitted it. He thought it would be okay, and that given the antiquity of the piece, no one have any claims to it any longer in terms of copyright. He was wrong. The Rachmoninov estate came after him. Still absolutely love Rachmoninov's works though. Absolutely magical and cathartic.

@martlad1 If you haven't already got them, I strongly recommend Rachmaninov's 2nd and 3rd Piano Concertos, Chopin's Nocturnes, Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and 6th Symphony, and Elgar's Cello Concerto. All fantastic, accessible pieces, and all dripping in emotion.
