Was Corneil based on Brian from Family Guy, or vice-versa? The characters are so alike (super-intelligent talking dogs who hate having to act like normal dogs). That whole 'Brian: Portrait of a Dog' (where Peter makes Brian enter a dog show) episode of Family Guy could almost be and episode of this.
