The credits say this song samples Maria Muldaur's 1974 single "Midnight at the Oasis," but I've never been able to hear it. I guess it's used subtly or slowed down beyond recognition. Anyway, it has always sounded to me like it could have been inspired by the Beatles' 1969 hit "Something."
