There appears to be talk of digging a ditch toward the southeast to drain this new lake. As of last night (May 3) the road is covered even deeper. The chorus of frogs was pretty deafening a couple weeks ago, and the coots and killdeer seem to have settled in.
Thank you for posting this video. Nice to see the wildlife doing well, though it is certainly unfortunate to have closed the road and flooded homes.
