  • may Allah (subhanahu wa t'ala) give Hidaya to people who want it. Its really sad to see people worshipping things besides their creator! Shaytaan is with those who do kufr!

I really find it amazing that their are Arabs who can read and understand the Qur'an and still insist on rejecting the Haqq!

  • WE love you :) God protect you for us

  • I notice Roman-Catholics like to come and write stuff like " UNITY NOW" and other stuff. Well, they should know that Orthodox Church, as one true and apostolic doesn't unite with heretics.

  • hope so brothers i am a latin deacon and I find that the lord is comeing from the east

  • It is sad, that some of our Brothers followed the Catholic Church, knowing that the Protugees Catholics, forced our people to catholizim, and burn all their Syriac Holy Books.... Hope one day they come to their sences, and join to Mother Church.

  • UNITY Roman and orthodoxies together as one.

  • @cathofaithdef more than 23 million russians of the ortodox church murdered in the nazi catolic inquisition, and more than 350.000 serbs of the ortodox church murdered by the evil franciscans in croatia, and in the crusades the satanic roman catolic sect looted and murdered the ortodox priest and nuns ,and Ireland more than , 12000 little inocent children raped by the satanic roman catolic sect

  • @hamlets7 Blasphemy to the name of the Lord. Don't ever mock his holy bride, the Roman Catholic Church. The people in the church sin, but the church does not. The church is sacred and infallible. Jesus himself said to Peter the first Pope. "Upon this Rock I'll build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail."

First of, Nazism is not Catholic...

  • @cathofaithdef

St Peter built his Apostolic throne at Antioch.

Later when King Constantine became a Christian and with the kings power and influence the so called Catholic faith boomed and blossomed within vast outstretched Roman empire.Eventually Rome became the epicentre of Catholicism, mainly because Rome was the Kings headquarters .

  • @bijithanuvelil1

why does your church's constitution have the Patriarch of Antioch as the supreme head?

  • @deaconzach

because St Peter built his Apostolic throne at Antioch.not in Rome,

Am not here to make an argument with any factions, but thats what the real history book says.

  • @bijithanuvelil1 are you Indian Orthodox or Syriac Orthodox?

  • Mar Thoma Church-similar to Eastern Churches like Church of East:)

  • i rely miss those days :((.

  • Dear Brother, only one thing... if you are christian in the true orthodox faith in India is not only due to St Thomas but also due to the holy fore- farthers who was delegated by Holy Patriarch for years and years(not from 1912) to malankara. Even the very first synod where the Faith Creed (which we all repeat at least twice a day)was formed clearly accept the spriutial supremacy of HH. Respecting and accepting the spritual father is always blessed. may God bless you and show you the light.

  • May God Bless our Holy Patriarch!

  • St. Thomas converted 4 brahmin families to Christians and preached Christianity. But he never established an apostolic church. The one and only apostle delegated by Jesus Christ to establish churches was St. Peter. "You are Peter, and upon this rock (kepa) I will build my church." [Mathew 16:18]. He established first episcopal church in Antioch where disciples were called Christians [Acts 11:26] and H H Ignatius Sakai Iwas is the 122nd successor to St. Peter in the Apostolic See of Antioch.

  • @lalsondany

The split between the Malankara church and the Syrian Church is mainly a politic issue, not neccesarily theological. Those churches that St. Thomas est. were not est. as official churches but rather places to meet and pray. In order to gain the apostolic lineage, we adopted the Syrian orthodox traditions. In reality, it is sad that there is so much drama between the two churches because I find both churches to be truly beautiful.

  • Biji Plz stay back. Neither you nor any followers of the IMAGINARY throne of St. Thomas is eligible enough to comment on H H The Patriarch. Plz watch and pray during these great lent days. Keep your tactics with you. May God bless you.

  • @lalsondany Who are you to judge who is "eligible" or worthy? Are you artificially espousing some sort of hierarchy that one Syrian Church in India is inferior to another? I usually make or respond to comments to make a clarification or explanation, but your partisan comment has really stirred much distaste and disgust. Despite the current state of the Syrian Church (Jacobite & Orthodox), are we still being true Christians by making statements and sentiments like yours?

  • @grvity33 dear brother, just read gospel written by john, last chapter 18-21. judge urself. see how jesus entrusts the leadership of the whole church to St.peter. note that this incidence is not narrated by peter, but by another deciple, john. this was how the innocenece and brotherhood in our church prevailed in the 1st century under the guidance of holyspirit. the lack of working by holy spirit is the cause of farctionation in our church in this era. God bless u.

    God Bless

  • Reunification is really a goal worth praying for. Once the Pope of Rome was one of Orthodox Patriarchs. The first among equals. He could well be that again, if he reversed some ill-adviced changes there have been in his church.

  • you have believed in a myth. the Primacy of the Pope has always been regarded since the earliest centuries of Christianity. this is defended even by the Eastern Fathers. anyway, you're still a brother. we are Christians and i agree with you that reunification is really a goal worth praying for.

  • How i wish all Christians including Orthodox Churches would one day be reunited with the Church of Rome :)

  • How we Orthodox pray the Roman Church will one day come back to Orthodoxy.

  • @tambuyaat

What do you mean? We have our own Patriarch. We don't want the Pope.

  • May God bless all the Orthodox Churches and Her leaders. Sept 14th was the anniversary of the Patriarch's ordination as well as the day of the discovery of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem.

  • God bless all my Orthodox brothers and sisters in Christ from St.Herman of Alaska Eastern Orthodox church!!!
