  • Such an uninspired film...shame of how they made it

  • Am I the only one who thought the queen was ugly to begin with? lol

  • Is this a parody? When no then:

NNOOOO! What did you do to the great tale?!

    Very sad :(

  • OMG, Floyd King is in this! He's one of my favorite actors in the DC area. :D

  • Very very ugly Snow White . And since when she's blonde ? Real Snow White is brunette , not a blondie bitch .

  • this snow white is ugly

  • I saw this on PBS on Christmas one year, and later got the DVD. It's a charming version of the tale and the DVD has some great extras. A wonderful example of inventive filmmaking on a shoestring budget.

  • @Vagrarian shoestring bedget??

  • @iloveyou1997jd "Shoestring budget" means a very, very low budget.

  • @Vagrarian got it :) ty

  • Its a good tale.

  • I love Becky!

  • The stepmother looks like Joan Crawford in Whatever Happened To Baby Jane. Creepy.

  • Her skin is not that white..her lips are not blood red..AND her hair is not black as ebony. LET DOWN. Hahaha!!

though i've seen fairer and whiter skin and also reder lips.

  • Can you say postpartum? lol.

This looks like a good one.

  • tom davenport is a great local filmmaker. good little movies.

  • "skin as white as snow"...oh lord i've seen better

  • Okay am I the only one that finds this highly disturbing? lol

  • why is snow white not pretty?

  • haha

  • why is snow white blonde??

  • AMERICAN Snow White XD

  • @mulan4ever14

its a theory because of a translation msitake in old times, the blavck dark brown hair isn´t a fact, the color black relates to her eyes ...

  • @JacksOnlyLove owwwsss...♥

[it wont let me post the link]

  • @ItsaRandomista can you send me the link to brothers grim willa the snow white trailer if its still there? i'd mean the world to me!

  • I've seen 3 of your films, this, Bearskin and Ashpet. I've got to say this is my absolute favorite and I think the best of the bunch. The acting and sets were amazing, and wow the scene with the poor Butler looked very REAL! *shivers* Great work.

  • Becky Stark, who plays Willa, is the lead singer for Lavender Diamond.

  • I remember watching one of these episodes in fourth grade.

I want to buy this film. Snow White's mother is the villan, just like the original version! No stepmother! Yay!

  • I don't know what "original" version of you've read but the one by Grimms has a step-mother not the real mother as the evil one.

  • If you go back to the first few manuscripts of "Snow White" by the Grimms (they edited it many times), the villian was Snow White's birth mother. They ended up changing it after the first publication, I believe.

  • this looks awesome! ^_^ thanks for the notice =D

  • This feature film won the ALA Carnegie Medal for best children's film of 1998. Its the last of a series of films call "From the Brothers Grimm". They were broadcast by PBS to schools in the 1980s and 90s.
